By Road: The best way to reach Hampi is via a roadway from Bangalore. A lot of buses shuttle between the two places and the road is excellent even if one wishes to drive down.

By Rail: Hospet is the nearest railway station with a good connectivity to major cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa, etc. Upon reaching Hospet, which is around 13 km from Hampi, a taxi can be hired.

By Air: There's no airport at Hampi, but if you wish to travel by air, the nearest airport is at Bangalore which is at a distance of 370 km. From Bangalore travelling by road or rail is comfortable and possible.
