Not only that but there is also a struggle among the male tigers to become the head of the family. Often, the young son (the tiger cub) ascends to the throne and begins leading the pride. Interestingly, in other instances, the female tiger proudly takes charge of the entire pride.
According to studies conducted by scientists during wildlife safaris, when a tiger dies, the remaining tigers in the vicinity experience grief. Consequently, they only hunt when they are extremely hungry. Meanwhile, hyenas, wolves, and vultures eagerly await the opportunity to feast on the tiger's remains.
