Quila Mubarak complex consists of a palace Khila Androon, Darbar Hall (Diwan Khana) and Ran Bas (Guest House). The fortress was originally built by Baba Ala Singh in 1763. Initially, it was a mudfort but later it was reconstructed with mud bricks. Recently, Quila Mubarak also went through a restoration process.

The fortress was constructed by Nawab Saif Ali Khan which is named after the Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur.
