If you've ever dreamed of exploring the lush green hills, calm backwaters, and historical sites of Kerala, this tour is for you. IRCTC's Kerala Delight package takes you on a beautiful journey through Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, and Kumarakom. This 6-day tour offers a comfortable experience with flights, deluxe hotel stays, sightseeing, and time to shop and relax. Starting on 28th September 2025, this journey is designed for a group of 20 travellers.
Day 1: Arrival in Kochi (28.09.2025, Sunday)
Your journey begins with a flight from Kolkata to Kochi. After you land at Cochin Airport, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a visit to Marine Drive and Broadway, where you can shop and take in the sights. You will spend the night at your hotel in Kochi.
Day 2: Kochi Sightseeing and Drive to Munnar (29.09.2025, Monday)
After breakfast, explore the heritage and culture of Fort Kochi. You will visit Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, and Fort Kochi Beach. In the afternoon, you will travel to the beautiful hill station of Munnar. In the evening, you can enjoy a cultural show at Punarjani Village (tickets need to be purchased by guests separately). Overnight stay will be in Munnar.
Day 3: Explore Munnar (30.09.2025, Tuesday)
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Munnar. Visit the Eravikulam National Park and the Tea Museum in the morning. Later, see Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Dam Lake. You'll spend another peaceful night in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady (01.10.2025, Wednesday)
Check out from the hotel after breakfast and head to Thekkady. After checking into the hotel, enjoy sightseeing around Thekkady. Guests can also choose to go boating at Periyar Lake (optional and at personal cost). Stay overnight in Thekkady.
Day 5: Backwaters of Kumarakom and Return to Kochi (02.10.2025, Thursday)
After breakfast, you will travel to Kumarakom to enjoy a calm and refreshing backwater cruise. In the evening, return to Kochi and check into your hotel for your final night.
Day 6: Shopping and Departure (03.10.2025, Friday)
After breakfast, enjoy some personal time for shopping at Lulu Mall. Later, you will be dropped off at Kochi Airport at least 2 hours before your flight back to Kolkata. The tour ends with beautiful memories of Kerala.
