Alleppey in Kerala
What could be better than a lazy day by the backwaters of Kerala?! Houseboats are available for day cruises and nights as well. Watch the water ripples, listen to the gurgle and enjoy some delicious seafood cooked and served at the houseboat.
The best time to visit Alleppey is from November to February. Some other attractions here are Alleppey Beach, Krishnapuram Palace, Ambalapuzha Temple and Arthunkal Church.

Pondicherry
Pondicherry is a place for peace lovers. The charming French colonies, the serene beaches and the meditation centres pave way to a relaxing vacation here. The place even has a universal town which was built to promote unity and harmony among people across the world.
The ideal time to visit Pondicherry is from October to March. Some of the places that you should visit include Paradise Beach, Serenity Beach, Auroville, Ousteri lake and Romain Rolland Library.

Manali
Manali in Himachal Pradesh is both for a peaceful getaway and for adventure as well. There are some scenic locations here worth exploring. Some of them are Malana Village, Bhrigu lake, Hidimba Devi Temple and Beas Kund. Except for monsoons when the place is prone to landslides, Manali can be enjoyed during any time of the year.

Anjuna
Anjuna Beach in Goa is a relatively quieter place for you to enjoy a lazy weekend, compared to the other touristy beaches here. Soak in the sun, play in the water and taste some Goan delicacies served to you. When you're bored with these, hop to the local markets for some shopping.
The Wednesday flea market in Anjuna is also worth exploring. Any time is a perfect time to visit Goa, but you can avail the best hotel offers during the monsoons, which is from June to September.
Head to one of these places this weekend, forget all your stress for a while and breathe, relax and enjoy!
