Colachel is a small coastal town in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu and is located at a distance of about 23 km from Nagercoil. Even though it is home to numerous historical sites and unspoilt beaches, it remains unexplored throughout the year.

By Air: The nearest airport from Colachel is located in Trivandrum at a distance of about 64 km. Once you have reached Trivandrum, you can either hire a direct cab or catch a bus to reach Colachel.

By Rail: Colachel doesn't have a railway station of its own, and hence you can't reach it directly by rail. The nearest railhead from Colachel is located in Eraniel at a distance of about 8 km. From Eraniel, you can take a direct cab or use public transport to reach Colachel.

By Road: Being a significant port town, it is well connected to other cities by road, and hence it is easily accessible.
