Moitri Durgotsav - Celebrating Tradition Overseas
For the second consecutive year, the Moitri Association is all set to paint Seattle with the vibrant hues of Durga Puja. This grand celebration is slated to occur from October 20th to 22nd, echoing the sentiments of Navratri, Durga Puja, and the onset of the Indian winter. The venue for this cultural extravaganza is the Maple View Middle School in the enchanting Maple Valley suburb.
Bringing Kolkata to America
The Moitri Durgotsav Committee has poured heart and soul into making Indian culture thrive far away from the homeland. In a remarkable endeavor, they have imported a magnificent idol of Mother Durga from the famed Kumartoli of Kolkata.

In preparation for Durga Puja 2023, the Moitri Durgotsav Committee has painstakingly constructed a stunning puja pandal that will witness elaborate celebrations from Bodhan (Shashthi) to Visarjan (Vijayadashami).
