Government Museum
The Government Museum is one of the oldest museums in India, and has 18 galleries that take you to various sections that include sculptures, art, music, geology, natural history and numismatics. The museum also has the earliest of Kannada inscriptions on slabs.

Nehru Planetarium
The Nehru Planetarium, also known as Jawarharlal Nehru Planetarium, is one of the interesting tourist spots of the city. Apart from the amazing Sky Theatre of the planetarium that showcases video clippings and other animations, it also has a Science Park and Science Centre for the visitors to explore.

Kempegowda Museum
The Kempegowda Museum is a Government museum located in the city, Being one of the recently built museums, it is a memorial in honour of chieftain Kempegowda who founded Bangalore. The museum structure is painted in the traditional colours used by military quarters - red and white. The museums is a collection of photographs and other documents related to the history of the city and the life of Kempegowda.
Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum
This museum is an insight into various aspects of technology. The sections here include the Engine Hall, Fun Science, Electro Technic Gallery, Space Gallery, Biotechnology Hall and a Children Science Gallery.

HAL Aerospace Museum
Being the first aerospace museum of India, the HAL Aerospace Museum is another tourist attraction worth exploring. The museum throws light on the growth of Indian aviation industry and HAL for the past few decades. The models here include aircraft engine models, flight simulators, aircraft and helicopters. It also has a mock Air Traffic Control tower.
