Azhikode is a small beachside settlement in the Kannur district of Kerala and is located at a distance of about 8 km from the main town of Kannur. It is named after Sukumar Azhikode, who was a popular writer and critic of Kerala. From there, you can hire a direct cab to Azhikode. Kannur is located at a distance of about 8 km from Azhikode and 95 km from Kozhikode.

By Rail: Located near Azhikode, Kannur is well connected to other major cities and towns by rail. From Kannur railway station, you can take a direct cab to reach Azhikode.

By Road: Azhikode can easily be accessed by road on account of its commendable system of roads.
