Azhikode is a small beachside settlement in the Kannur district of Kerala and is located at a distance of about 8 km from the main town of Kannur. It is named after Sukumar Azhikode, who was a popular writer and critic of Kerala. Even though the region around Azhikode remains flooded with tourists throughout the year, the region within its boundaries is unknown and unexplored.

From there, you can hire a direct cab to Azhikode. Kannur is located at a distance of about 8 km from Azhikode and 95 km from Kozhikode.

By Rail: Located near Azhikode, Kannur is well connected to other major cities and towns by rail. From Kannur railway station, you can take a direct cab to reach Azhikode.

By Road: Azhikode can easily be accessed by road on account of its commendable system of roads.
