All About Chand Baori in Abhaneri, Rajasthan!

Built between 800 AD and 900 AD, this beautiful stepwell was built by King Chanda of Chauhan dynasty. The stepwell is around 20m deep, making it one of the deepest ones built in India. It narrows as we go deep, and the three sides of the well are filled with double flights of steps that take you to the bottom of the well. The nearest railway station is at Dausa and the nearest airport is the Jaipur Sanganer Airport.
