In light of the escalating tension in the Israel-Palestine conflict, Air India has announced a one-time waiver on charges for rescheduling or cancellation of confirmed tickets for flights to and from Tel Aviv. The statement was made public on micro-blogging site Twitter, currently known as X. The offer, according to the airline, is valid on tickets issued before 9th October for travel until 31st October 2023.

International Airlines Suspend Flight Services As Conflict Escalates
With the situation becoming increasingly fraught on the ground in both Israel and Palestine, a number of prominent international airlines have ceased flight services to and from Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion airport. This list includes renowned airlines like Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Air France, Emirates, Egypt Air, Dutch carrier KLM, Finland's Finnair, Norwegian Air, Germany's Lufthansa, Polish carrier LOT, Portugal's TAP, United Airlines, and Ryanair. Ben Gurion airport is perceived as one of the largest airports globally.
