January: Rock climbing in Ramanagaram, Karnataka
The rocky region that we all saw as the abode of Gabbar Singh in the Hindi film Sholay, Ramanagaram, in Karnataka has seven majestic hills surrounding it. The popular peaks are Ramadevara Betta, SRS Betta and Thenginkalbetta. Groups of climbers frequent these hills and they are mostly professionals but the tall granite hills are suitable for short climbs too, ideal for amateurs. February: Cauvery fishing camp
Loosen up for the more adventurous months ahead with a trip to the Cauvery Fishing Camp. The camp comprises of three places- Bheemeshwari, Galibore and Doddamakali. Kayaking, trekking, coracle riding and mountain biking are some of the other activities that you can enjoy here. Along with these activities you can also enjoy watching around 95 species of birds, crocodiles, and turtles.

March: Mountain biking in Garhwal

November: Cave exploration in Meghalaya
Krem Chyme, Jaintia Hills- This resurgence cave is currently surveyed to be 10.5 km in length, which makes it the fifth longest cave in India. The Krem Chyme is also a river cave that requires the visitors to swim through 3.5 km long lakes formed inside the cave. There are more than 50 naturally formed dams inside the Krem Chyme, which prove to be quite a sight. The cave also has colonies of bats and cave-adapted fish. The cave has several links which are yet to be explored.
