Thirumanancheri Weather

Two seasons of the year are ideal to visit Thirumanancheri, one being the monsoon season between June and September. During this time the landscape, freshly drenched from the monsoon rains, is a sight to behold. The other time of year when it’s advisable to visit Thirumanancheri is between October and March, when the temperatures drop to bearable limits.

Summer

Thirumanancheri’s summers are pretty intense, much like the rest of Tamil Nadu, with the temperatures rising to as high as 42 degrees Celsius. Though any time of year is good for travelling to Thirumanancheri, this would not be one of them. It would be advisable to stock up on plenty of water during a trip to Thirumanancheri during this time to prevent the risk of dehydration. Summertime is mostly during the period between March and May

Monsoon

Monsoons are pretty mild in Thirumanancheri. After the first bout of rains, the land takes on a life of its own that invigorates any visitor to Thirumanancheri during the monsoons. The monsoon in Thirumanancheri is during June and September. Showers during the months of October and November can also be expected.  

Winter

The temperatures drop to a bearable range of 20 to 30 degrees Celsius during winter time in Thirumanancheri. One of the best times to visit the place would be during this period which extends from December all the way to February.
