Sultan Bathery Weather

Sultan Bathery enjoys a very balanced climate in general. Even though, summers are hot, they are balanced by cool winters and heavy rains. June and July should be preferably avoided. The best season to visit this town is soon after the monsoons till the beginning of summer (October-February).

Summer

Summer begins in Sultan Bathery from the month of March and is continued till the end of May. Summers are hot and dry, but the high altitude and proximity of green hills check the heat to a great extent. Temperatures during summer go up to a maximum of 34 °C.

Monsoon

Sultan Bathery enjoys a generous rainfall owing to South West Monsoon. Showers start pouring from the month of June and are extended till early September. Heavy rainfalls are likely to worsen the conditions of roads and hence monsoon is not a great time to pay a visit.

Winter

Winter starts in Sultan Bathery from the month of December and lasts till February. The climate is pleasantly cool and welcoming during this season. Temperatures are likely to drop during nights. Winter is an ideal time to visit the town and is advised that backpackers carry winter clothes and sweaters.
