Sibsagar Weather

Tourists can travel to Sibsagar during the monsoons if they want to get close to nature and see the abounding flora and fauna. However, it is ideal to travel to this Upper Assam town during the winters when the temperatures are low and the climate very pleasant.

Summer

The summer months in Sibsagar are March to June. The town is known for its humid climate that gets quite uncomfortable. However, due to rainfall even during these months, the temperature falls bringing much relief. The average temperature ranges between 15 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius during the summers.

Monsoon

Rainfall is abundant in this part of the country. The monsoon sets in by July and lasts till September. Thanks to the abundant rainfall, the countryside adorns a lush green layer, which is a soothing sight for all. Though it rains quite a lot in Sibsagar, humidity is nevertheless quite high.

Winter

The winters set in by December and lasts till February. The average temperature during these months ranges between 7 degrees Celsius to 18 degrees Celsius. The coldest month is January. The winter in Sibsagar isn’t harsh but quite pleasant making it a great time to travel around.
