How to reach Rukhala by train

The Kalka Railway Station, which falls under the Kalka-Shimla line, is the closest railhead to Rukhala. The neighbouring towns namely, Shimla, Dharampur, Solan, Kandaghat, Salogra and Barog, are well connected to Rukhala via this train line. Train fare per head from Kalka to Rukhala is around INR 100 to 220 for first class seats. Taxis from Shimla to Rukhala, which charge around INR 7 per km, can be hired.
