Located by the banks of river Ramganga, Chaukhutia is a small town in the Almora district of Uttarakhand, situated about 50 km from Ranikhet. It is famous for Kali Temple, and many ancient forts and ruins. An annual fair called Ashtami Mela organised at the temple is also a very famous tourist attraction.
