Balaram Palace, which has now been converted into a luxury hotel, was once the weekend retreat and a favourite spot for hunting for the Lohanis - the rulers of the princely Palanpur. Constructed during 1920, the palace edifice portrays an elegant neo-classical architecture.
The gracious building is surrounded by a beautiful environ of lush green lawns and colourful flowering plants, along with a tranquil forest land spread across 13 acres. The palace is located at a distance of 14 km from the Palanpur Station.
