Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express

The first change concerns the Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express, which operates as train numbers 20888 and 20887. The service runs every day except Tuesday and covers a distance of around 536 kilometres between Varanasi and Ranchi. The journey takes approximately 7 hours and 50 minutes.

Under the revised schedule, train number 20888 will now depart from Varanasi at 3:55 pm instead of its existing departure time of 4:05 pm. This means the train will leave Varanasi 10 minutes earlier from September 2. There will be no changes to its timings at stations beyond Varanasi.

The Varanasi Ranchi Vande Bharat Express stops at several important stations along the route. These include Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Sasaram, Gaya, Koderma, Hazaribagh Road, Parasnath, Bokaro Steel City and Muri. The train offers both AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car seating options.

Varanasi-Deoghar Vande Bharat Express

The second service affected by the timetable revision is the Varanasi Deoghar Vande Bharat Express, operating as train number 22500. Its departure time from Varanasi will also be moved 10 minutes earlier. From September 2, the train will leave Varanasi at 6:10 am instead of 6:20 am.

There will be no changes to the train's timings at stations beyond Varanasi. The revised schedules are intended to help passengers plan their journeys more accurately and avoid confusion at the stations. Travellers using either Vande Bharat service should therefore take note of the new departure times from September 2.
