Every year, the Karthigai Deepam festival draws thousands of devotees from across India. This year, in an effort to ensure a smooth and convenient travel experience for devotees, the TN government has made exceptional arrangements. Minister S S Sivasankar announced on Tuesday that the government will deploy 2,700 special buses from various parts of the state touvannamalai between 24 and 26.

Temporary Bus Stands for Easy Travel
As part of the plan to manage the expected influx of devotees, nine temporary bus stands have been established in Tiruvannamalai. The measure is designed to avoid traffic congestion in the city and ensure smooth transportation for the devotees. These special buses will operate from Chennai, Puducherry, Bengaluru, and other parts of the state.
Free Shuttle Services for Devotees
In addition to the special bus services, the government also plans to introduce 40 small buses that will function as shuttles. These buses will transport devotees to and from the nine temporary bus stands and the girivalam route, free of charge. The bus stands are conveniently located in various parts of the city for the ease of the devotees.
