The Railways has announced special express trains between Tirupati and Vijayapura, as well as Tirupati and Secunderabad, to manage the additional passenger rush during October 2026 and provide more travel options during the festive season.

Tirupati-Vijayapura Special Trains
Train No. 07419 Tirupati-Vijayapura Special Express will operate every Sunday from October 4 to October 25, completing four trips. The train will depart from Tirupati at 8.15 am and reach Vijayapura at 10.25 pm on the same day. In the return direction, Train No. 07420 will leave Vijayapura at 11.35 pm on Sundays and arrive at Tirupati at 2.15 pm the following Monday.
The train will stop at 18 stations along the route. These include Renigunta, Koduru, Razampeta, Kadapa, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Ballari, Toranagallu, Hosapete, Koppal, Gadag, Hole Alur, Badami, Bagalkot, Almatti and Basavana Bagevadi Road.
The Vijayapura special train will have 11 coaches, comprising one AC 2-Tier, two AC 3-Tier, four Sleeper, two General Second Class and two Second Class-cum-Luggage-cum-Brake Van (SLR) coaches.
Tirupati-Secunderabad Special Trains
Meanwhile, Train No. 07421 Tirupati-Secunderabad Special Express will depart from Tirupati at 4.30 pm on October 4 and reach Secunderabad at 7 am the next day. The return service will leave Secunderabad at 4.15 pm on October 5 and arrive in Tirupati at 6.45 am on October 6.
The Secunderabad special train will consist of 22 coaches, including two AC 2-Tier, six AC 3-Tier, eight Sleeper, four General, and two SLR coaches.
These special services are intended to accommodate additional passengers and ease travel during the festive period.
