Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam Luxury Bus: KSRTC has Started a New Premium Service from Monday to Friday

The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has started a new Executive AC Volvo luxury bus service between Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam, aiming to provide passengers with a more comfortable and premium travel experience on the busy long-distance route. The new service began on August 20 and will operate from Monday to Friday.

Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam Luxury Bus

The bus will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 5.30 am and reach Ernakulam at around 9.45 am. On the return journey, it will leave Ernakulam at 5.30 pm and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 9.45 pm. The service will travel through important locations including Kollam and Alappuzha, with stops also provided on the Ernakulam side. The journey is expected to take about four hours and 15 minutes.

Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam Luxury Bus Facilities

The new Executive Class bus has been designed with facilities similar to those found in premium or business-class travel. It has 36 comfortable reclining seats, giving passengers more space during the journey. Each seat also comes with an individual entertainment system, allowing travellers to watch or use entertainment options while travelling.

The bus also has several facilities, aiming to make long journeys easier. These include free Wi-Fi, USB charging points and an onboard toilet. A pantry with a mini refrigerator and coffee maker is also available for passengers. These facilities are expected to make the service particularly useful for business travellers and people who regularly travel between the two cities.

Passengers can book tickets through KSRTC's online booking system, the Ente KSRTC Neo OPRS mobile application, and reservation counters. Tickets can also be booked through WhatsApp by sending a message to the designated KSRTC number.
