To handle the expected increase in passenger traffic, additional trains have been planned across various districts of Uttar Pradesh where the examinations are being conducted. These measures aim to make travel easier and more convenient for candidates, many of whom will be travelling long distances.

Railway Authorities' Measures

Railway officials have been assigned to special control rooms, or "war rooms," at divisional offices to monitor the situation and manage crowds effectively. Extra staff have been deployed at ticket counters, inquiry counters, and railway stations to assist passengers. Public announcement systems will also remain active to provide important updates and information.

For security and smooth movement of passengers, additional personnel from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) have been deployed. Railway staff have been instructed to guide candidates properly and provide accurate information on platforms and station premises.

To ensure a quick response to rising passenger demand, the Prayagraj Division has positioned extra train coaches and rakes at major railway stations such as Prayagraj Junction, Kanpur Central, Aligarh Junction, Etawah, and Mirzapur. These can be used to run special trains at short notice whenever needed.

Apart from increasing train services, the railways have prepared a detailed action plan for major stations. Special arrangements have been made for crowd control, ticketing, security, and passenger facilities. Railway employees have been kept on alert throughout the examination period to assist travellers.

Security measures have also been strengthened at important stations, including Prayagraj Junction, Kanpur Central, Aligarh Junction, Tundla, and Mirzapur. CCTV cameras will continuously monitor station activities to ensure the safety and smooth movement of candidates.

If necessary, the railway administration may extend the routes of some regular trains, add extra stoppages, or change train timings to help candidates travel more easily.

Advisory for Passengers

Railways has advised all examinees to reach stations early, carry valid tickets, and follow railway guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey.
