The East Central Railway (ECR) has announced special train services from Danapur to meet the growing demand for travel on busy routes. The additional trains will connect Danapur with New Delhi, Sholapur and Bhusawal and are aimed at helping passengers during the seasonal rush.
Special Trains from Danapur
One of the major services will be a special train between Danapur and New Delhi. This train will operate from September 4 to September 26. The service has been introduced to clear the extra passenger rush on the busy Danapur-New Delhi route. It will provide an additional travel option for passengers travelling between Bihar and the national capital.
The railway will also run two one-way special trains towards Maharashtra. A special train will operate from Danapur to Sholapur on September 4. Another one-way special train will run from Danapur to Bhusawal on September 5. These services are intended to help passengers travelling towards important destinations in Maharashtra and reduce pressure on regular trains.
ECR Chief Public Relations Officer Saraswati Chandra announced the special services and said the additional trains are being introduced to meet passenger demand. The railway has planned these services to make travel easier and more convenient during the period of increased demand.
In another passenger-friendly step, the Patna-Puri Express will start operating with Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches from September 5. These modern coaches offer better safety features and improved riding comfort compared with conventional coaches. Passengers are also expected to benefit from better onboard facilities.
The railway said the introduction of special trains and LHB coaches is part of its efforts to improve the travel experience. Additional services on important routes will help manage seasonal passenger demand and reduce overcrowding.
