The Eastern Railway has announced a special train service between Kolkata and Puri to meet the growing demand during the Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath Puja festivals. This special service aims to offer a comfortable and hassle-free journey for passengers, with an additional 13,000 seats made available to accommodate the festive rush.

Kolkata-Puri Special Train: Schedule and Timetable
The Kolkata-Puri Special train (Train No. 03101) is scheduled to depart from Kolkata station at 23:50 hrs every Thursday from October 3, 2024, to November 28, 2024. The train will arrive in Puri at 09:35 hrs the following day, allowing travelers to reach their destination early in the morning. On the return journey, the Puri-Kolkata Special train (Train No. 03102) will depart from Puri at 15:00 hrs every Friday from October 4, 2024, to November 29, 2024, and will reach Kolkata at 02:00 hrs the next day.
Stoppages and Facilities
This special train service will have several stoppages along the way, including Andul, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Khurda Road stations in both directions. These stops will make it convenient for passengers from various regions to board the train and travel comfortably to their destinations.
The train is equipped with a variety of accommodations to suit different passenger needs, including air-conditioned coaches, sleeper class, and general second-class compartments. This range of options ensures that all travelers, regardless of their budget, can find a suitable seat for their journey.
