The South Coast Railway (SCoR) has announced the extension of the Secunderabad-Srikakulam Road-Secunderabad special train to meet the growing passenger demand and provide more convenient travel options. According to the railway authorities, the special train services have been extended by 11 additional trips in both directions. The decision has been taken to help passengers during the busy travel period and reduce the rush on regular trains.

Secunderabad-Srikakulam Special Train
Train No. 07425, which runs from Secunderabad to Srikakulam Road, will operate on Sundays. The train will run on July 5 and July 12, and then again from August 2 to September 27. Similarly, the return service from Srikakulam Road to Secunderabad will operate on Mondays. These trains will run on July 6 and July 13, and then from August 3 to September 28.
The extension of these special train services is expected to benefit passengers travelling between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It will offer additional seating capacity and make it easier for people to plan their journeys during weekends and other busy travel periods.
Advisory for Passengers
South Coast Railway has advised passengers to make use of these extra train services while planning their travel. The railway administration has also asked passengers to check the official railway website, enquiry counters, or other authorised communication channels for complete details about the train schedule, stoppages, timings, and seat availability. Travellers are encouraged to book their tickets in advance, especially during weekends and holiday periods, as these trains are expected to witness good demand.
