During the meeting, Chaudhary directed officials to complete all parts of the Patna Metro project on time while maintaining high construction quality. He said the metro is one of the most important infrastructure projects for Patna and will provide residents with a modern, safe, and comfortable mode of transport. He warned that there should be no delays or negligence in carrying out the work.

The Deputy Chief Minister asked officials to prepare detailed action plans and fixed timelines for every phase of the project. He also instructed them to regularly monitor the work to ensure that construction stays on schedule.

Chaudhary stressed that people should face as little inconvenience as possible during the construction period. He asked officials to improve traffic management around metro construction sites and suggested carrying out a scientific study of Patna's traffic system. Based on the findings, he said an integrated traffic management plan should be prepared to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow across the city in the long term.

Urban Development and Housing Department Minister Nitish Mishra also attended the meeting. Chaudhary said work should continue simultaneously at several locations to ensure the entire metro project is completed within the planned deadline.

He added that once the metro becomes fully operational, it will offer residents a fast, safe, and world-class public transport system. The metro is also expected to reduce road traffic, cut pollution levels, and make daily travel easier for commuters.

The Deputy Chief Minister also instructed officials to prepare the master plan for the proposed Patna satellite township within the given timeline.

During the meeting, Urban Development and Housing Department Principal Secretary Vinay Kumar and other officials presented an update on the project. The review included the proposed Corridor 1 from New ISBT to Akashvani and the ongoing construction work from New ISBT to Mithapur via Jaganpura.
