Pune’s final immersion days will see a rare transport sprint. Pune Metro will run nonstop for 41 hours. Services begin 6 am, Thursday, September 25, and continue till 11 pm, Friday, September 26. The window targets peak processions and late‑night returns across central corridors.
Both corridors remain open throughout the window. Purple Line links Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to Swargate. Aqua Line connects Vanaz to Ramwadi. Trains run every five minutes during festival rush hours. From September 17 to 24, services run 6 am to 2 am. Regular timings resume on September 27.

Ganesh Visarjan routes and station hotspots
Metro suggests alighting at Kasba Peth for the peth mandals on Line 1. Use Deccan Gymkhana or Pune Municipal Corporation on Line 2. Use Mahatma Phule Mandai mainly for return journeys. Mandai will operate one‑way: entry Gate 3, exit Gate 2. Expect heavy queues at Swargate, Mandai and Deccan.
