The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) has announced a scheduled power cut in Chennai on November 7 to carry out essential maintenance work. The electricity supply is expected to be restored by 5 PM, or earlier if the work is completed ahead of time.
List of Areas to be Affected in Chennai
Ambattur: Palaniappa, Pudur, AK Amman, Banu Nagar, Oragadam, Murugambedu, Pasumpon Nagar, Kallikuppam, Chandrasekarapuram, Venkatapuram, and Karukku.
Thirumudivakkam: Sidco 6th and 8th Street, Main Road and Lane, Velayuthum Nagar, Meenakshi Nagar, Sathish Nagar, Kalaimagal Nagar, Sai Baba Lane, Karpagam Nagar, 400 Feet Road Parking Yard Area, and Ashramam Avenue.
