On Monday, November 24, many areas in Tamil Nadu will face scheduled power outages. The state electricity provider has listed around 125 localities across districts, including Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy (Tiruchirappalli), Perambalur, Theni, and Udumalpet, that will be affected by power supply cuts.

In Coimbatore: Outage from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including localities like Aanakatti, Cheranma Nagar, Nallattipalayam, Chinnathadagam, K.R. Palayam, Kallapatty, Kothavaady, Maheswari Nagar, Mettubavi, Nallattipalayam, Nanchundapuram, Nehru Nagar, Panapatty (Part), some areas of Pannimadai, Papanaickenpalayam, Peelamedu Industrial Estate, Periyathadagam, Sharp Nagar, Sitra, Thanneerpandal, Valliampalayam, & Villankurichi.
In Madurai: From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, covering places such as Anaikaraipatty, Chinnakattalai, E. Perumalpatty, Elumalai & Surroundings, Gopalapuram, Kudiseri Surroundings, M. Kallupatti, M.S. Puram Surroundings, Mallapuram, Mangelrev, Meenakshipuram, Mela Thirumanikam, Pappinayakanpatti, Peraiyur, Periyakattalai, Perunkamanallur, Ponnuvar Patty & Surroundings, Sangaralingapuram, Saptur, Seela Nayakkapatti, Solapuram & Surroundings, Soolapuram T. Krishnapuram Surroundings,, T. Ramanathapuram, Thullukuttinayakanur, Ulapatti, Vaalaithoopu, Vaganeri Surroundings, Vandapuli, Vanthapulichelliahpuram, & Vittalpatti.
In Perambalur: From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, covering places like Alambakkam, Annimangalam, Pudukottai, and Venganur.
In Theni: Power cut from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, affecting Moonandipatty, Sindalaichery, Thambinaickenpatty, among others.
In Trichy: Outage from 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM, for areas including Aamalakkakkapatty, Aanaiyur, Annanagar, Usilampatty, and more.
In Udumalpet: Break in supply from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with localities like A. Ammapatty, Kuppampalayam, Pariyapatty, Vadugapalayam listed.
Advisory For Residents
Residents in these districts are advised to make necessary arrangements, for example, charge devices ahead of time, schedule tasks that require uninterrupted power accordingly, and keep emergency lighting ready. Though the outage is planned, it will likely affect daily routines, especially for households and businesses relying on electricity during those hours.
