The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) will carry out line work in the Kyathasandra sub-division on November 25 and 26. Therefore, people living in the nearby areas may face a power cut lasting up to seven hours, and BESCOM has requested residents to cooperate during this period.

List of Areas to be Affected
According to officials, the link line work will take place between 10 am and 5 pm on both days. Power supply may be unstable or completely unavailable in many areas around Gandhamachanahalli. The villages likely to be affected include Hullenahalli, Kalingayyanapalya, Holakallu, Singipalya, Badesaba-Rapalya, Virupasandra, and Veeranaya-Kanahalli.
BESCOM's Supply of Electricity
BESCOM is responsible for supplying electricity across eight districts of Karnataka: Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Chikkaballapura, Kolar, Davanagere, Tumkur, Chitradurga, and Ramanagara. The company serves a large region of over 41,000 square kilometers and a population of more than 2 crore people. It operates through four zones, nine circles, 32 divisions, 147 subdivisions, and over 500 section offices.
Advisory for Residents
Bengaluru residents are advised to keep track of BESCOM's latest updates and follow necessary safety steps during the outage. For more details or to get real-time information about the scheduled power cut, people can visit BESCOM's official website or contact the customer helpline at 1912. The helpline can assist with area-specific queries, timing updates, or any help needed during the outage.
To manage the planned power cut better, residents are encouraged to charge all essential devices, including inverters, power banks, emergency lights, and mobile phones, beforehand. Since the outage is expected between 10 am and 6 pm, households should plan their daily tasks accordingly. Activities that require electricity, such as running water pumps, using washing machines, microwaves, or mixers, are best completed before the power cut begins.
