Uttarakhand, the untouched land of India is ready to show more beautiful colours and is again ready to show us the hidden heaven it has. There has been a wonderful news from the forest department of Uttarakhand that they are going to open 15 new trekking jungle trails for nature lovers, trekkers and interested individuals.

Which means that the less travelled jungle trekking trails will soon be made available to trekkers and tourists in Uttarakhand. The Uttarakhand Forest Department is prepared to provide travellers with distinctive trekking experiences this summer, including the least travelled trek routes in the dense coniferous woods of Chakrata, geological excursions at 1000 feet in Kharamba, & stargazing in Molta.

Vinay Bhargav, the Yamuna Circle's Forest conservator, told The Times of India that they have identified 15 trekking areas in Uttarakhand. Depending on their preferences and the length of these excursions, visitors can choose the trekking trail they want to take.

The routes range in length from small ones that just require 2.5 km of walking per day to longer ones that cover 65 kilometres over the course of a week. He noted that these hikes would also involve overnight stays in nature camps and homestays.
