In preparation for the upcoming UP International Trade Show, the Noida Police have released a special 6-day traffic advisory. This major event is expected to bring in a large number of visitors, which could lead to heavy traffic in the surrounding areas. To manage this situation and minimize inconvenience, the Noida Police have shared a detailed plan, including traffic diversions, alternative routes, and increased public transport services.

Traffic Diversions and Road Closures
To ensure smooth movement around the venue of the trade show, certain roads will have restricted access or complete closures. One of the key steps taken is limiting the entry of goods vehicles on major roads such as the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. From 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, heavy vehicles will not be allowed on this road, except for essential services like those transporting milk, fruits, vegetables, and medical supplies. This restriction is aimed at reducing traffic congestion during peak event hours.
Suggested Alternative Routes
To make commuting easier, the police have provided alternative routes for vehicles to bypass the most crowded areas. Vehicles coming from the Chilla Border will be diverted at Chilla Red Light and can use major highways like NH-9, NH-24, and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Similarly, those entering Noida from the DND Border will be redirected to NH-91 and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
Vehicles coming from Kalindi Border will also be guided towards the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, while those approaching from Jewar Toll on the Yamuna Expressway will be diverted to Aligarh before reaching the toll. These alternative routes will help reduce congestion and provide smoother traffic flow.
Increased Public Transport and Parking Arrangements
To lessen the number of private vehicles on the road, Noida Police have worked to increase the availability and frequency of public transport during the event. Commuters are encouraged to use public buses and trains as a more efficient way to reach the trade show. This will help manage the overall traffic load and reduce the risk of roadblocks.
Additionally, special parking areas have been arranged for visitors to the trade show. By ensuring parking is organized in specific spots, the police hope to prevent roadside parking, which can cause further traffic problems.
Follow Noida Traffic Police for Updates
For regular updates on traffic conditions, road closures, and diversions, residents and commuters are encouraged to follow the Noida Traffic Police on social media. The aim of the traffic advisory is to ensure the event runs smoothly while minimizing inconvenience for daily commuters.
By using the designated routes and following the guidelines set by the Noida Police, both residents and visitors can navigate through the event period with fewer disruptions.
