Features of Amrit Bharat Express Trains
These trains aim to offer affordable travel, especially for long distances. Typically, passengers will pay about ₹500 for every 1,000 kilometres they travel. Indian Railways has also said there will be no dynamic pricing, which means fares won't change frequently. Even though these Amrit Bharat trains don't have air-conditioned coaches, they still provide many modern features to improve comfort and safety. Some of these include:
• Comfortable seats and sleeper berths
• Cleaner toilets with better flushing
• Fire safety systems
• Facilities for passengers with disabilities
• Charging points and pantry cars
• CCTV cameras and emergency communication systems
• Coaches with luggage space and guards' cabins
Moreover, these new trains are meant to make journeying easier and more comfortable for people who travel long distances by rail.
