Two world records were broken by more than 100 senior citizens in California, US between the ages of 60 and 78 by taking part in a group skydiving event. I bet you will have a jaw-dropping movement after reading this.

The event had been organised by the Southern California skydiving facility, Skydive Perris.
This group of skydivers intended to break just 1 world record, but they actually finished breaking 2 world records.
On Saturday, April 15, 2023, the group's first world record was a 1-point 101-way, breaking a previous record of a 75-way set in Chicago in 2018. The group attempted a 2-point 95-way the next day, breaking the prior Perris world record of a 60-way set in the year 2017.

A "point" in skydiving refers to how many members of the formation are in contact with one another. In a "2-point" setup, two skydivers would be in contact with each other while the other skydivers would not be touching anyone.
To make sure they were prepared for the challenge, the competitors spent months practicing their formations and enhancing their physical fitness. The jump itself was a carefully choreographed routine, with each skydiver playing a crucial role in forming the intricate pattern required to set the record.
It was a commendable scene to witness where the participants cheering and supporting each other and offering encouragement throughout the process of breaking a world record.
The skydiving center Skydive Perris in Southern California uploaded images and videos from the event and shared the news of the breaking of the two world records on their official Instagram handle.
They wrote:
"This was a big weekend for @p3skydiving as they landed not one but TWO world records. SOS (Skydivers Over Sixty) was able to complete a 1-point 101-way on Saturday 4/15/2023 beating the previous record of a 75-way at Chicago in 2018. Then they wondered why stop there? So they went back up and completed a 2-point 95-way on Sunday 4/16/2023 beating the last record of a 60-way at Perris in 2017.
Thank you everyone for helping make this dream become a reality! You were all so amazing."
