The Indian Railways is preparing to launch a new Vande Bharat Sleeper train, providing a comfortable and efficient travel option between New Delhi and Srinagar. The train is set to begin service in January 2025, marking a significant step forward in improving connectivity between the two cities. Train Schedule and Route
The New Delhi-Srinagar Vande Bharat Sleeper train is expected to depart from New Delhi at 7:00 PM and will arrive in Srinagar at 8:00 AM the following day. Covering a distance of over 800 kilometers, the train will stop at important stations along the way. Some of these key stations include Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Kathua, Jammu Tawi, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Sangaldaan, and Banihal. This route not only improves connectivity between the national capital and the capital of Jammu and Kashmir but also offers convenient stops for passengers traveling to other important destinations along the way.
Comfortable Sleeper Design
Unlike the regular Vande Bharat Express trains, which are known for their comfortable chair car services, this new Vande Bharat Sleeper train is specially designed for longer journeys. The Vande Bharat Express Legacy
