Mysuru-Jalpaiguri Special Trains: South Western Railway to Handle Passenger Rush During the Summer Season

South Western Railway has announced special express trains between Mysuru and Jalpaiguri Junction to handle the extra passenger rush during the summer season. These special trains will run two trips in each direction to help clear the heavy demand.

Mysuru-Jalpaiguri Special Trains

Train number 06251 Mysuru-Jalpaiguri Express Special will depart from Mysuru at 4:40 pm on April 17 and April 24, which fall on Fridays. The train will reach Jalpaiguri Junction at 5:30 pm on Sundays. For the return journey, train number 06252 Jalpaiguri Junction-Mysuru Express Special will leave Jalpaiguri Junction at 4:45 pm on April 20 and April 27, which are Mondays. It will arrive in Mysuru at 4:00 pm on Wednesdays.

Important Train Stoppages

During its journey, the train will stop at several important stations to serve passengers across different regions. Some of the major stops include Mandya, K.S.R. Bengaluru, Katpadi, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Kharagpur, Dankuni, Malda Town, and Kishanganj. These stops will be the same in both directions.

The train will have a total of 20 coaches, including First AC, AC 3-tier, Sleeper Class, General Second Class, and SLR/D coaches to ensure that passengers from different categories can travel comfortably during the summer season.
