By offering voice-assisted booking in Indian languages, MakeMyTrip and Microsoft are working together to make trip planning more inclusive and accessible. This collaboration aims to revolutionize the travel sector by providing users with a personalized and effective travel planning experience.
The new in-platform tech stack, according to the company, is powered by Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service & Azure Cognitive Services. It will interact with users to provide personalized travel recommendations based on their preferences; curate vacation packages based on specific inputs like occasion, activity preferences, budget, time of travel, etc. This initiative even helps you make reservations for these vacation packages. English and Hindi, which is the majority speaking the language in India beta version of this interface is accessible to customers booking flights and holidays. Other transport options will be included in the next stage of the voice-assisted booking flow. With only one click, users can activate the feature that has been integrated into the platform's landing page.
