The special train will have a total of 22 coaches to accommodate more passengers. These include two AC 2-tier coaches, eight AC 3-tier coaches, six sleeper class coaches, four general second-class coaches, one luggage-cum-brake van, and one generator car. The additional coaches are expected to help ease the increased demand for train travel during the Onam holidays.

The train will stop at several important stations along the route. These commercial halts include Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur Junction, Palakkad Junction, Podanur Junction, Tiruppur, Erode Junction, Salem Junction, Jolarpettai Junction, Katpadi Junction, Arakkonam Junction, and Perambur before reaching its final destination.

The introduction of this weekly special service will offer extra travel capacity, making it easier for passengers travelling between Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu during the busy Onam festival period. Passengers are advised to book their tickets early as demand is expected to be high.
