The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced special plans for the Sabarimala Pilgrimage for the years 2024 to 2025, with services beginning at a reasonable price of ₹1748. This initiative is designed to provide a smooth and convenient travel experience for devotees traveling to Sannidhanam, ensuring they can focus on their spiritual journey. Bookings for these services are already open, making it easier for pilgrims to plan their trips in advance.
KSRTC has also made provisions for the upcoming Vaikathashtami festival in 2024, which will be celebrated on the 23rd. Pilgrims attending the festival will have access to transportation services that align with the event's schedule, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free journey. Additionally, the Mandala Puja on the 26th and the Capricorn lamp ceremony on January 14, 2025, will also be included in these travel services, providing a complete solution for devotees attending various religious events.
In order to manage the large demand during this period, KSRTC has introduced a special service called 'Turbo Jose,' which can carry up to 55,000 pilgrims. This service demonstrates the corporation's ability to handle large-scale travel needs while ensuring the comfort and convenience of the passengers.
To meet the needs of the large number of devotees, KSRTC has arranged multiple departure times throughout the day from Bangalore. The buses will leave at 13:50, 14:20, 17:10, 21:55, 03:10, with the last bus departing at 05:00. This wide range of timings offers flexibility to travelers, allowing them to choose a time that suits their schedule.
To make the booking process easier, KSRTC has set up an advanced reservation system, allowing pilgrims to secure their seats ahead of time. This system helps avoid last-minute hassles and ensures that every devotee can carefully plan their journey.
