Warning from INCOIS
The Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) has warned of the possibility of a sea attack due to high waves along the Kerala coast, south Tamil Nadu coast, and low-lying coastal areas as part of the black sea phenomenon.

Safety Precautions for Fishermen and Coastal Residents
In light of the rough seas expected to intensify, authorities advise fishermen and coastal residents to take necessary precautions:
1. Avoid Dangerous Areas: Stay away from dangerous areas as per instructions from authorities to ensure safety.
2. Secure Fishing Vessels: Safely moor fishing vessels (boats, trawlers, etc.) in the harbor and maintain a safe distance between them to prevent collisions. Ensure the safety of fishing equipment.
3. Stay Away from Beaches: Completely avoid trips to the beach and any activities at sea to avoid potential risks.
As Kerala prepares for rainfall and potentially rough seas in the coming days, it is essential for residents, especially fishermen and coastal dwellers, to stay informed about weather updates and follow safety guidelines issued by authorities. By taking proactive measures and exercising caution, individuals can minimize risks and ensure their well-being during adverse weather conditions.
