The Jatayu cruise service on the Saryu River has recently debuted in Ayodhya, the holy city in Uttar Pradesh, India. This two-story, air-conditioned cruise ship, which is 45 feet long and 15 feet broad, was constructed in Gujarat and brought to Ayodhya via Delhi.

The Jatayu cruise will take visitors on a picturesque tour along the Saryu River. It is named after the legendary bird in the Hindu epic Ramayana. Passengers will be introduced to a short film as part of the experience that tells the tale of Lord Ram and Ayodhya which educates them on the rich mythology and history related to this holy site.

Starting in Naya Ghat, the cruise will travel a total of 18 kilometres before arriving back at Naya Ghat. It is anticipated that the full trip, which can carry 70 passengers at once, will last between one and a half and two hours.

The flexible times of the Jatayu boat service are one of its main selling points. There are 4 set timings in a day for the cruise trip which are as follows:

The first voyage departs at 4:30 am and ends at 6:30 am, giving guests time to enjoy the river's tranquil splendour in the early morning hours. During the second trip, which runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., guests can explore the city and visit local sights at their leisure. The third journey, which runs from 4 to 6 p.m., provides a beautiful perspective of the river as dusk falls. The final voyage offers passengers the chance to experience the lively nighttime atmosphere of the city from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
