On the 21st of March, 2023, IRCTC will launch the Bharat Gaurav Train to the North East. According to Indian Railways, the AC deluxe Bharat Gaurav train will travel through Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (AP), Nagaland, Tripura, and Meghalaya in 15 days.
"North East Discovery: Beyond Guwahati" is the theme for the North East circuit. The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe Tourist Train, which is scheduled to depart from New Delhi's Safdarjung Railway Station, can carry 156 passengers and is air-conditioned with AC 1 & AC 2 tiers.
The train's first stop is Guwahati, where passengers will visit the auspicious Kamakhya Temple & Umananda Temple. As a precaution against COVID-19, the Railways Ministry has made full vaccination required for guests aged 18 and up. All other booking information is available on the IRCTC website. It is advisable to always look at the official source before proceeding with any kind of booking, etc.

The ticket includes, among other things, train rides, hotel accommodations, all vegetarian food, transfer charges, sightseeing in different locations, and trip insurance. Visitors can also pay for their journey in installments because IRCTC has partnered with PayTm as well as Razorpay payment platforms.
As previously reported, the Indian Railways announced the Bharat Gaurav plan in 2021 to enhance Indian tourism while also attracting tourists from around the world. This train is part of the Government of India's programs to boost domestic tourism, like Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat & Dekho Apna Desh.

Travelers can board & deboard in Delhi, Kanpur, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, Lucknow, and Varanasi, among other cities. It will include 2 fine dining restaurants, showering cubicles in coaches, a modern kitchen, sensor-based washroom facilities, and other amenities. The ticket's price ranges from Rs 1,06,990 per passenger in AC 2 Tier to Rs 1,31,990 per person in AC 1 cabins and Rs 1,49,290 per person in AC 1 coupe.
