For the first time, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced online ticket purchasing for the India International Trade Fair (IITF) at the Bharat Mandapam Complex. Starting from November 14, this step aims to make it easier and more convenient for people to attend one of Delhi's most popular events.

How to Buy Tickets
Tickets can be purchased online through the DMRC Delhi Sarathi app from November 11. The app offers QR tickets and an option to book 8-seater golf carts for travel within the Bharat Mandapam Complex. These carts, with drivers, will operate in two time slots: from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Additionally, tickets will be available offline at 55 major Metro stations from November 14 to November 27.

Ticket Prices
The pricing of IITF tickets varies for different days and visitor categories:
| Dates | Adults | Children |
|---|---|---|
| Business Days (Nov 14-18) | ₹500 | ₹150-₹200 |
| Weekdays (Nov 19-22) | ₹80 | ₹40 |
| Weekends (Nov 23-24) | ₹150 | ₹60 |
| Last Days (Nov 25-27) | ₹80 | ₹40 |
This range in prices ensures affordable options for everyone, whether they visit on business days, weekends, or weekdays.
Stations Selling Tickets
Offline tickets will be available at customer care centers and ticket counters at major stations across all Metro lines. Some key stations include Rithala, Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda), Samaypur Badli, New Delhi, Rajiv Chowk, Dwarka Sector 21, Kirti Nagar, Lajpat Nagar, Majlis Park, and Hauz Khas.

Extra Services for Visitors
The DMRC has gone a step further by introducing golf cart bookings through the Delhi Sarathi app. These carts are perfect for moving around the Bharat Mandapam premises, ensuring convenience for families, elderly visitors, and groups. Up to 10 tickets can be purchased daily via the app, making group planning easier.
A Blend of Tradition and Technology
By combining online and offline ticketing options, the DMRC is making it easier for people to attend the IITF. This move reflects the Metro's focus on innovation while ensuring traditional methods remain available. Services like golf carts further enhance the visitor experience, making the event more appealing to both locals and tourists.
The DMRC's efforts to simplify ticketing and transportation for IITF 2024 showcase thoughtful planning and commitment to improving public convenience.
