The Atal Indore City Transport Services Ltd (AICTSL) has announced this major project, which will begin with the construction of the first 200 bus stops. Cost and Financial Model
Each digital bus stop will cost around ₹8 lakh to build. However, the government or the commuters will not have to bear this expense. Instead, the project will follow a public-private partnership (PPP) model. Under this arrangement, the construction agency will be allowed to use the bus stops for advertising, helping them recover their investment. This approach ensures that modern facilities can be provided without increasing the financial burden on the city.
