IndiGo has exciting news for travelers: starting August 1, 2024, they will launch a new direct flight service between Bengaluru and Abu Dhabi. This new route aims to provide Indian travelers with better access to explore the island city of Abu Dhabi and beyond.
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, announced that Bengaluru is now the tenth city on the airline's network to offer direct flights between Abu Dhabi and India. With this addition, IndiGo will have 75 weekly frequencies to Abu Dhabi and over 220 to the UAE, making it easier for passengers to travel between these destinations.
Flight Details
The new Bengaluru-Abu Dhabi flight, numbered 6E 1438, will depart from Bengaluru daily (except Tuesdays) at 9:25 pm and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 11:30 pm. The return flight, 6E 1439, will leave Abu Dhabi daily (except Wednesdays) at 12:30 am and arrive in Bengaluru at 5:45 am. This schedule is designed to provide convenient timings for travelers, whether they are flying for business or leisure.
Expanding the Network
In addition to the new route between Bengaluru and Abu Dhabi, IndiGo has also announced a direct flight service between Bengaluru and London Gatwick, starting from August 18. This new connection marks the fifth Indian city with direct connectivity to the UK's second-largest airport. IndiGo will operate five pairs of flights per week on the Bengaluru-London Gatwick route, using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This aircraft features 18 flat beds in Business class and 238 Economy seats, offering a comfortable journey for passengers.
