IndiGo, a leader in the aviation sector, announced the launch of daily direct flights from Bengaluru to Denpasar, Bali, starting March 29. This strategic move aims to cater to the growing demand for travel between India and Indonesia, marking Bali as the 33rd international destination in IndiGo's expanding network. IndiGo, a leading airline, made an announcement on Tuesday regarding the initiation of daily direct flights from Bengaluru to Denpasar in Bali, starting March 29. This move marks the airline's continuous expansion within the Southeast Asian region, with Denpasar becoming the 33rd international destination in IndiGo's network. The launch is set against the backdrop of increasing demand for tourist and business travel between India and Indonesia.

Expanding Southeast Asian Network

Having commenced its operations to Jakarta in 2023, Bali emerges as IndiGo's second destination in Indonesia. This addition brings the total count of destinations served by IndiGo to 119. The airline has opened bookings for these flights from February 20, signaling its readiness to bridge the gap between India and Indonesia further.

Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed his enthusiasm regarding this new connection. He highlighted Bali's appeal as a tourist destination, facilitated by a hassle-free visa process, and the airline's commitment to providing superior connectivity and accessibility. Malhotra emphasized the aim of strengthening India-Indonesia ties, promoting tourism, and encouraging business collaborations through these flights.
