Good News for Puducherry: Indigo Airlines is set to start regular flight services from Puducherry Airport on December 20. K. Rajasehar Reddy, the Director of Puducherry Airport, explained that Indigo's flights will bring multiple benefits to passengers, including affordable fares, greater convenience, and a comfortable travel experience. By connecting Puducherry directly to major cities, this service will also link travelers to many destinations across India and even internationally. The government has also asked Indigo to look into starting flights to additional cities in the southern region. SpiceJet was previously the only airline providing daily flights from Puducherry to Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
