In an effort to cater to the travel needs of passengers during the bustling festive season, Indian Railways has announced a series of special trains across various routes. This move aims to facilitate smoother travel experiences for those visiting their hometowns or planning holiday getaways. Here's a breakdown of the key details regarding these special train services.

Special Trains and Routes

First on the list is the Tilak-Danapur-Lokmanya service (01409/01410), set to operate on the 23rd, 25th, and 30th, departing at 12:15 and arriving at 17:00. The return journey on the 24th, 26th, and 31st will see departures at 18:15 and arrivals at 23:55. Key stops along this route include Ara, Buxar, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, and Bhusaval.

The Tilak-Samastipur-Lokmanya service (01043/01044) will run on the 21st and 28th, leaving at 12:15 and arriving at 21:15. The return trips on the 22nd and 29th are scheduled for departures at 23:20, reaching destinations by 7:40. This route covers Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Danapur, Buxar, Katni, Jabalpur, and Bhusaval.

A Junction-Varanasi service will commence operations on the 21st and continue until the 30th, with services available every Monday. The Howrah-Banaras special will start on the 23rd, connecting cities like Burdwan, Durgapur, Asansol, and Patna.

The Muzaffarpur-Lokmanya Tilak-Muzaffarpur service (05281/05282) is scheduled for the 20th, 3rd, and 1st, departing at 21:50 and arriving at 00:55. Stops include Hajipur, Danapur, Satna, Katni, and Jabalpur.

For those traveling from Vihar to Jogbani, the special train (04010/04009) will operate on the 26th, ensuring connectivity between the two cities. Similarly, the Gorakhpur-Amritsar-Gorakhpur service (05005/05006) will facilitate travel on the 20th and 27th, with departure and arrival times set at 2:40 and 11:10.

The Tanakpur-Daurai service (05097/05098) will run on the 22nd and 29th, providing a crucial link between these locations. The service on the 23rd and 30th will ensure return trips, with departures at 4:05 and arrivals at 9:35.

Moreover, the Delhi-Sitamarhi special train is set to make its journey on the 22nd and 29th, offering a direct route between these two significant destinations. The train departs at 12:10 and arrives at 11:30, with stops at Bareilly and Sitapur.

Lastly, the Muzaffarpur-Pune-Muzaffarpur service (05289) will run on the 23rd and 6th, departing at 21:15 and arriving at 05:35, ensuring connectivity between Hajipur, Patliputra, and Junction.
