Hyderabad Power Cut Today, July 8: Several localities across Hyderabad are scheduled to witness temporary power outages on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, as the Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) carries out planned repair and maintenance works. The scheduled shutdowns will affect parts of the Asmangadh Division and Greenlands ADE, Panjagutta jurisdiction at different times during the day.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to charge essential electronic devices in advance and plan important activities around the scheduled outage timings. Power supply is expected to be restored once the maintenance work is completed.

Why Is There a Power Cut?
According to the electricity department, the shutdown has been scheduled to facilitate repair and maintenance works across the affected feeders and distribution network. These planned outages are undertaken to improve the reliability and safety of the electricity supply system.
Advisory for Residents
Residents in the affected localities should complete important household and office work before the scheduled shutdown, charge mobile phones, laptops and power banks in advance, and make alternative arrangements for equipment that requires uninterrupted electricity. Power supply is expected to resume after the maintenance work is completed, although restoration timings may vary slightly depending on operational requirements.
